If you are interested in buying a condominium at Bedrock, in Rico, here is all the information you need for the purchase. These units are deed restricted properties and have purchase qualification requirements. Please read the details as the Qualifications and Deed Restrictions are not nearly as restrictive as many other housing options in the region. This page will outline all of these details.
To purchase a unit, you must be a “Qualified Buyer.” A qualified buyer is defined as:
(A) an individual who provides proof of residency in Dolores County, Colorado, or the Telluride R1 School District, as may be amended from time to time, for the previous 12 months; OR
(B) an individual who provides proof of employment for a Local Employer of a minimum of 700 hours within the boundaries of Dolores County, Colorado, or the Telluride R1 School District, as may be amended from time to time, for the previous 12 months; OR
(C) an individual who provides proof of current and ongoing employment for a Local Employer which will lead to a minimum of 700 hours on a 12-month basis within the boundaries of Dolores County, Colorado, or the Telluride R1 School District, as may be amended from time to time; OR
(D) an individual who has accepted an offer of employment with a Local Employer for a job with a start date within 60 days and that requires the individual to work a minimum of 700 hours per calendar year within the boundaries of Dolores County, Colorado, or the Telluride R1 School District, as may be amended from time to time; OR
(E) a local employer
(“Local Employer” is a business, corporate entity, special district, school district, or municipality that conducts its operations primarily within the boundaries of Dolores County, Colorado, or the Telluride R1 School District.)
Deed Restriction Summary:
All of the units will have a few deed restrictions:

Occupancy/Ownership clause for businesses vs individuals. If the unit is owned by an individual, the owner must use the unit as their primary residence and become a resident of Rico. If the unit is owned by a business-type entity, the entity must do business in the County of Dolores, Colorado or the Telluride R1 School District and must use the housing for its workforce.
